Location: Ekie Chambre Froede, Ekounou, Yaoundé
Host Organization: Club des Jeunes Aveugles Réhabilités du Cameroun (CJARC)
Supervised by: Mr. Coco Bertin Mowa
Total Beneficiaries: 30 individuals (children and caregivers)

As part of its end-of-year humanitarian outreach, A Hand to Humanity (AH2) visited the Club des Jeunes Aveugles Réhabilités du Cameroun (CJARC) – a remarkable center for rehabilitating visually impaired youth. The visit was focused on medical care, donations, and celebrating Christmas with the children and staff.

 Medical Consultation

A total of 30 individuals—including children, the director, and caregivers—received free medical consultations. The following health screenings were carried out:

  • Malaria
  • HIV
  • Hepatitis B and C

These tests were vital for early detection and prevention, especially in a vulnerable group with limited access to regular medical care.

 Christmas Gifts and Donations

In the spirit of love and celebration, AH2 donated:

  • Medications for the First Aid box
  • Food supplies to support meals during the festive season
  • Clothing and shoes
  • Games and recreational items
  • Detergents and hygiene supplies

This gesture was aimed not only at meeting practical needs but also at giving the children a joyful and memorable Christmas.

 A Heartfelt Reception

The visit was deeply appreciated by the CJARC family. In a touching moment of gratitude, the children and staff offered songs, prayers, and words of thanks to the AH2 team and the generous donors who made the outreach possible. Their joy and hospitality were a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
